One of the most important things you can do to change your life is to change your thoughts. It’s easier said than done. It seems natural for us to think more negative thoughts, to find what’s wrong, instead of focusing on the positive.
There’s a truism – don’t take your thoughts seriously. Thoughts are fleeting. Just because a thought pops in your mind, that doesn’t mean it’s true. And you certainly don’t have to believe it, accept it, or continue to think about it.
Your thoughts are not you. If you are observing your thoughts, you will realize your thoughts have a life of their own. You are the observer, observing the thoughts that zoom in and out of your mind.
Our thoughts are very powerful. It affects our emotions and our actions. How are your thoughts serving you? You have the ability to focus on one thought. You have the ability to focus on the good in everything. So use it to your advantage.
