As the saying goes, “Life is what happens, when you are busy making other plans.”
As important as planning can be, it can also inhibit us from experiencing life itself. It's called Analysis Paralysis. It becomes so easy to feel you are not even ready to begin. You want to do more research, talk to a few more people, read a couple more books, or get organized first.
While it’s natural to want to feel prepared for what’s ahead, perhaps there’s really something else going on…
Flexibility, adaptability and resilience are life skills that help us deal with the unknown. No one is really able to prepare, script, or plan for every possibility. There are times when you just have to “go with it”—and trust that whatever happens will work out.
Trust G-d and trust yourself. In the end, it always works out for the best. Just do your best.
